Refund policy
SIMPLE AND FAIR (at least we try):
BAMBOO FLY RODS: I, William S. Oyster, do hereby guarantee that you will be satisfied with our bamboo fly rods and we will find a way to make you happy. If one of our rods fails to live up to your expectations either in appearance or performance, send it back. If there is a flaw in workmanship or materials, we will make it right. If you stick your rod in the ceiling fan, fall on it in the stream, or otherwise abuse your rod, I will do my best to repair or replace it at a reasonable cost. In other words, we are only interested in happy customers and will do everything in our power to keep you that way. We are not a "cyber-business". "We" are myself, my wife Shannen, son Cutter and daughter, Veronica and of course...Riley, Kassie, Paxton, Bruce and the rest of the Oyster crew (Quinn, Luna, Charleigh, Willow, & Brig). I am a man in a workshop who splits cane, sands, planes, varnishes, sweats, bleeds, hand engraves and sweeps up. OTHER RETAIL ITEMS: Items (including, but not limited to, luggage, reels, lines, knives, clothing, hats, barware, books, signs, candles, and mugs) are in-store credit only unless merchandise arrives damaged.
CLASS DEPOSITS: Due to high demand and limited availability for our bamboo fly rod making classes, a $500 deposit is required to secure a space. If you are unable to attend your scheduled class date, you may use the $500 as a credit towards an available date, merchandise at our brick & mortar store in Blue Ridge, Georgia, or our online store www.oysterbamboo.com (excluding promotions and labor-intensive items) up to 90 days prior to your scheduled class. At 90 days, your payment is due in full (less the cost of materials) and is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
CUSTOMIZED ITEMS: NON-REFUNDABLE
GIFT CERTIFICATES AND MERCHANDISE: Gift certificates are the most flexible option for the giver. They are non-refundable. Certificates may be applied towards any Oyster offering, including custom bamboo fly rods, bamboo fly rod making classes, and merchandise in stock at our brick and mortar store on Main Street in downtown Blue Ridge, Georgia, or our online store at www.oysterbamboo.com.
Oyster's Privacy Policy:
Oyster Bamboo Fly Rods does not share our client’s information with any entity. Ever. Our sales platform is Shopify and we understand Shopify will not share or sell your information either.
