It’s been a long and winding road to develop what we feel is the new standard in reels for the serious fly-fisherman with a classic aesthetic. The angler’s journey with bamboo fly rods has always left them at a difficult crossroads when it came to matching their rod with the perfect reel. Historically, there has only been two options - classic style OR modern features. Our purpose in the development of these reels is to allow the classic angler to have it all. The mid-arbor allows for much quicker line retrieval. The exposed rim provides a smooth braking surface for palming the spool. The sealed disk drag allows for an extreme range of options no matter if you’re fishing microscopic midge patterns or hammering the banks for monsters with streamers and sinking lines. Spool removal can be done without tools and no loose parts to fall in the river. Never before has there been a classic style reel that is so profoundly capable. They are lightweight, absolutely beautiful, and completely designed, machined, and assembled in the U.S.A.
