Before Bill was a bamboo fly rod maker, he was a professional cyclist. Yes...professional cyclist. In fact, he became a hard core fly fisherman because he needed a respite from the highly competitive cycling world which eventually led to our current life. While racing is decades behind us, two wheels still have a hold on our hearts...just less peddling from Bill.
