PERSEVERANCE. This is what it’s all about...it’s hard to comprehend that Oyster is only a few weeks away from our 20th year of making bamboo fly rods full time. There have been an extraordinary amount of challenges, opportunities, experiences and individuals that have helped shape this small family business into what we are today. Throughout 2018, we will be paying homage to the craft of bamboo fly rod making and some of the moments that shifted our existence and as a result propelled us into doing nothing else with our adult lives professionally but make bamboo fly rods. We fully recognize how esoteric this particular lifestyle is and are forever grateful for the path we have followed the past 20 years and look forward to our future with awe and vigor.
