Oyster Bamboo Fly Rod Making Class October 21-26, 2024

☀️ Welcome October 21-26 Bamboo’s fly rod-making class! Fall is in ON in Blue Ridge, Georgia! Our little tourist town is bustling, and the weather is sunny and crisp! 🍂 Fall is truly magical here!

🤯 John is here for CLASS #28, visiting from FL/GA. He’s crafting what is sure to be a phenomenal “mushroom engraved” rod. Fun fact: John’s first class was a gift 🎁 from his wife, and he’s always believed that each new rod could be better than the last. He enjoys coming with friends and making new connections—he and Colin met and became friends during Colin’s first class in June 2023. This time, he’s making a 7’6” 5wt rod for Southeastern waters. #ACR ⛰️

🧑‍🧒 Colin is taking CLASS #2 and brought his daughter, Jill, along. In his first class, he made a trout rod. A passionate saltwater fly fisherman, he’s now crafting an 8’ 9wt rod. 🌊

🧑‍🧒 Jill is here from Florida with her dad, likes sugar 😂 and is working on her own 7’9” 6wt rod! 🏞️

🎁 Matt is here because his wife signed him up, knowing he would never take the time for himself! Welcome Matt! Your wife may know you better than you know yourself. He’s making an 8’ 5wt rod! ⛰️

⏰ Long time no see! Bob is back for his second class after an eight-year hiatus. His first class was a gift 🎁 from his wife, and now he’s back with David, crafting an 8’ 8wt rod! 🎣

✌🏽 David is also here for his second class, joining us from MS. A dedicated bass fisherman, he’s making an 8’ 6wt rod! 🐟

👩‍❤️‍👨 June and Kevin are visiting from AL. Kevin loves Redfishing. One fateful day, he was “window shopping” our class in Blue Ridge and brought June along when they signed up. 😂 June is making an 8’ 8wt rod, while Kevin is crafting an 8’ 9wt. 🌊

👩‍❤️‍👨 Carol and Steve are from CO and are excited to attend after being on the waitlist. Steve has fished his entire life, and Carol grew tired of sitting on the bank watching him 🙄, so she decided to become a fly fisher too! Carol is making an 8’ 5wt rod, and Steve is crafting a 7’6” 5wt rod.🍂

Welcome! Have the best week!!! 💫💫💫
