About Last Week…

⛰️ Oyster’s September 8–13, 2025 Bamboo Fly Rod Making Class welcomed new makers and brought back old friends.

3️⃣ William — class #3. Built an 8' 7WT. William has a special Oyster hat…😉 His wife gifted him his first class and an Oyster rod, and now his brother attends the class with him for the week. #brothers See you in 2026!

2️⃣ Joe (William’s brother) — from Athens, GA. Class #2. Built an 8' 7WT for his wife as a surprise. 🙊 See you next year!

🧑🧑🧒🧒 Dave R. — Gainesville, GA (William’s father-in-law). Never fly fished before; this class gave him a reason to start. ✨ Built the mighty 8' 7WT.

🟥⬛️ Connor — Athens, GA (Joe and William’s cousin). First class as well; it was a “family affair.” Built an 8' 7WT. See you in Athens!

⛰️ 3️⃣ Suzie — from Colorado. Class #3. Built an 8' 6WT; has been planning to return for years and brought her daughter Becky.

🏔️ Becky — also from Colorado. First class with her mom (Suzie 💕); built an 8' 6WT.
