How does the action of a bamboo fly rod compare to graphite?

"The action of a bamboo compared to graphite is going to vary. You will notice a very different feel, and typically most people would describe it as a slower action or a more full flexing action, and a lot of people will compare it to the action they feel in a fiberglass rod, so it is very similar to that. Anytime you have a less powerful material, it helps to design the rod to flex deeper and load up energy through a longer range. You can throw nice, tight loops with them, but still, compared to graphite, it's going to feel more full-flexing, a little more easygoing, and things will slow down a little bit, and a lot of people actually like that feel."
